CuttingDeep lines in aged cheeks sank deep so as to contain dust, dust that tells her stories sprinkled with flecks of russet, gleaming grains of gold. Wires of her white hair write dashes along her body signifying what's been lost in the pauses of time like reopened time capsules, they expose unwanted truths. Yet like all that is buried, she must confront their ancestry, rebuild their lives from specs of being and apply her findings to her own, famished life picking flecks from her body and bits from theirs only to find the dust still fresh, the lines still deep.Cutting
